Detailed Information

1. Transportation from the airport

From the Athens airport (El. Venizelos) you can use the metro or the airport bus, No X195 to Athens. If your hotel is far from the bus stop or metro station, then stop at the Ethnikis Amynas metro station, where it is easy to find a taxi. Buses are cheaper and round the clock, whereas the metro is not available after midnight. The metro is faster and comfortable, but you have to take a long walk with your luggage to reach its embarkation platform. If you take a taxi, it will cost you about 40 Eu to go to your destination in the city center. In case your hotel is far from the city center, then use another bus, taking advice from your hotel web site or http://www.athensinfoguide.com/
